1. Nature of the Service
The agency acts exclusively as an independent travel agency, an intermediary between the client and tourism providers (hotels, theme parks, cruise lines, car rental companies, tour operators, among others).

The Agency does not own or operate the services offered.

2. Relationship with Providers
Reservations may involve third-party services, including companies such as:

- Expedia TAAP

- Europamundo

- Civitatis

- Viator

- Among others

The client accepts that each provider maintains its own policies, operating rules, terms, and conditions, which apply directly to the contracted service.

The Agency does not officially represent these companies unless expressly authorised through a formal contract.

3. Payments
Payments may be subject to cancellation policies and penalties established by each provider.

Some reservations may be non-refundable.

The client is responsible for reviewing the conditions before confirming payment.

4. Cancellations and Changes
Modifications or cancellations will be subject to:

- Supplier policies

- Administrative fees, where applicable

 - Contractual penalties

The Agency does not guarantee refunds when not authorised by the supplier.

5. Documentation and Immigration Requirements
The client is responsible for:

- Verifying passport validity

- Obtaining necessary visas

- Complying with health and immigration requirements

The Agency is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to non-compliance with requirements.

6. Limitation of Liability
The Agency will not be liable for:

- Cancellations, delays, or changes made by suppliers

- Weather conditions

- Force majeure

- Governmental actions

Situations beyond its reasonable control

 

7. Intellectual Property
Trademarks, names, and logos of third parties mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used solely for informational and service identification purposes.

8. Jurisdiction
The Adventure Chest and El Cofre de las Aventuras operate within Costa Rican territory.
